June 14th-18th @ Madeira High School
This summer's Greater Cincinnati Marching Percussion Clinic provides an
opportunity for your son or daughter to gain experience that has
been traditionally available only through individual high school music
programs.
This
one week Summer Clinic is open to all junior high and high school
age students seeking intense training from experienced
professionals. During the course of this program, each student will
rehearse 4 to 5 hours each day and learn two cadences, a full
ensemble piece, and numerous technique exercises culminating in a friends
and family performance at the end of the week. Daily master classes
will include instruction on hand drums and percussion with Stan Ginn,
concert percussion with Chris Barrick, quads with Andy Mersch, and a drumset/groove class with Joe Jahnigen.

What to Bring:
Campers must bring their lunches every day except Friday when pizza will be provided.
Water and Gatorade will be provided.
For safety, each camper is required to wear gym shoes. Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, water bottle and light colored clothes are also required.
It is strongly recommended that each student eat a full breakfast and get a good night's sleep. We will be spending the majority of the day outside in potentially hot weather.
